It seems we are already getting a little more variety in this blog section than on the old blog.

As many of you who follow me on Twitter know, I am currently writing a research paper focused on Curly Lambeau and the Packers of the 1920s. Along the way, I discovered many fascinating facts. This one is particularly awesome.

Common sense would dictate that we should take some time to bask in the glow of the awesome achievement of the Green Bay Packers. I can imagine that we are all doing that personally with friends and family, and with whatever larger Packers community we happen to be a part of. I was planning a post Super Bowl post, but, after having almost 24 hours to think about it, I have come to the conclusion that it is not possible to put into words the feeling of seeing the player who's jersey you wear holding the Lombardi trophy in the midst of streaming confetti, the feeling of remembering all of the offseason...

When I first took baby-steps into the world of Packers-related Tweeting and blogging, I was overwhelmed to say the least. Sure, I had read the big guys, JSO, GBPG, before getting into Twitter, but nothing prepared me for the level of intensity in which every movement, every quote, and every action by a player was meticulously documented by fan and paid journalist alike, with apparent equality in the spotlight. As time went on and spring turned into summer, I grew accustomed to the barrage of information and how to handle it.

However, nothing could have prepared me for Super Bowl week.
