Jolly Applies for Reinstatement
According to Cheesehead TV, ( http://bit.ly/hWI4Gq ) Johnny Jolly has reapplied to the league after his one year suspension for violations of the drug policy. According to the article, Jolly hopes to be back with the Packers.
This is a case that is hard to judge from the outside. Thompson will have to meet with Jolly, of course, but, based on Thompson's record, I doubt Jolly will find it easy to return to the team. Availability and accountability are the taglines of this front office, and McCarthy has been using them for months. I would personally like to see the culture and make-up of the current locker preserved as much as possible after the Super Bowl win.
