Great Article from the Packerranter

Packerranter.com has written an article from the first hand account of a Packers fan who was denied seating at the Super Bowl.

I know that the NFL is trying to do everything it can, including offering triple-face-value compensation and free tickets to next years game, but money was not the only thing lost by these rediculously unlucky fans. In my opinion, these fans should automatically be offered free tickets when their team is in the Super Bowl. Lets say the Packers are in the next Super Bowl, so all of the fans could receive free tickets. If they were Steelers fans, they could opt to receive free tickets to a later Super Bowl, when the Steelers are playing.

Its only fair.

Update: It seems that great minds (the NFL and myself) think alike. An article JUST came through on my Twitter feed essentially stating that the NFL is now offering this as an option. According to the article by Darren Rovell, the NFL is willing to offer an all-expenses-paid trip to any future Super Bowl of the ticket-holder's choice. In my opinion, this is the only fair option, and I applaud the NFL for making that available.
